1.14 Plans

Hello everyone! It's that time again, Mojang has released a new version of Minecraft. The usual process will apply here, however, so far it's going a little bit faster than usual. The roadmap looks as follows:

  1. Wait for Spigot to update (This step is complete)
  2. Wait for the major plugins we use to get updated (Towny, Essentials, etc.)
  3. Slowly make sure that the world will be fine with the new update, conduct a lot of behind the scenes testing
  4. Publish the update live

So far, the process hasn't been too bad. Spigot has released within 3 days of 1.14 being released, so now we're just waiting on plugins. If you want to see the progress being made, please check out this link. I update that Trello board every time I change something on our test servers, and it makes it so much easier for me to see what's going on and what still needs updating. As of now, there are 3 plugins that either fully work or sort of work, and there is a total of 72 plugins running on the server right now, so there are 69 plugins left that either need to be tested or get updated.

For now, that's all the information I have to give! Hope it was helpful!
